Artist develop art making skills
I've decided to morph a regular turtle with a mythical hydra for this art project. Now I've never really complimented my own work, but i'm really proud of this here shell I dun made. When we first began ceramics, I doubt I could have made something like this. To others it might not seem like much, but to me, I think it shows how much I've learned in this class. I have learned how to handle and shape clay better and make it look sorta neat. A little practice is all it takes to improve your art skills. Maybe with more practice, I could form an even better shaped shell. Artist take riskI have recently decided to make the turtle-hydra creature even bigger! I felt as if the small shell didn't have enough effort in it, so I decided to try something else. I feel as if there is a risk of it being harder to handle and easier to break. But hey, it's in the title of this here post. I plan on looking back at my previous mistakes and try to avoid those while creating this piece. With a little time and effort, I feel I can actually make this work. |
